Can't say but, It will get you a seat in the branches of print and media, industrial production, but not on the day of the first round of counselling. You would need to apply for the waiting list, and in the 2nd or 3rd round of councelling you could get the above mentioned branches. You won't be able to get the branches of automobile engineering, electrical and electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, and branches like computer Science, electronics and communications, computer and communication, information technology are not to be considered. It would be better if you apply for the second and third attempts of MU-OET and prepare well for those and try and give your best, and you will easily get better marks then. (You could easily get these engineering branches in Manipal University, Jaipur or Sikkim Manipal University, if you want to, but the quality of education would not be better than it is here, in MIT, Manipal. )

Citizenship:
Admissions are effected under two categories: General and Foreign/NRI. All Indian nationals are eligible to apply under the general category while the Foreign/NRI category is open to foreign nationals, non-resident Indians and Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives

Foreign/NRI Category:A separate merit list of the applicants under the Foreign/NRI category will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and those selected for admission will be informed separately
