According to most reviews placement from the college is decent but is does depend a lot on your CGPA because you only get to sit in the interview of the big companies if you have a good CGPA otherwise you may end up being selected by a start-up or mediocre company.
Overall, you can say it does have a decent placement but it won't justify the heavy fees you pay.

For MUJ (lateral entry) you have to give Manipal Entrance Test and in the first year, your CGPA should be above the meeting criteria in order to get the admission in CS branch.

Hi, Direct admission is given through management quota. You can get a seat in the same, if seats are available. You should visit the campus and talk to the concerned authorities. Although fees are higher for management quota than normal students.

Manipal is a much better college than LNMIIT in almost all the aspects be it placement, academics or whatever. I am attaching my conversation with one of the LNMIIT student : I posted the placement stats of Manipal which are much better than those of LNMIIT, but one LNMIIT student won't ready to accept the truth.
