The placement is vry good from this institute .This institute achieve 100 percent placement in 2022 and 98 percent in 2021 an d before this 99 percent student get placed from this institute. This is the 5 batch in 2023 and so far 85 percent student are placed from this institute top compnies like infosys, wipro .cognizant and INTERNATIONAL AI companies also approached here fpr ecruitment purpose . The top most package is around 50 Lacs with average is aruon d10 to 15 Lacs is achieved by the students

Admission to IIIT manipur is totally based on JEE Mains secure good rank in JEE main th en student will get the desired seat in this college. Reservation is also here for sc and ST students internal quota for manipur students is also here and for OBC creamy layer streams are also reserved. As far as eligibility is concerned students must secure 70m percent in class 12 with PCM subjects.

The ECE placement rate for 2024 stood at 64.71%. Out of 21 total BTech ECE students in batch 2024, 17 participated in the drive and 11 were placed. The institute has not disclosed the branch-wise placement data for the 2023 drive. However, the 2022 branch-wise placement details are available. During 2022 placements, 32 CSE students passed out from the BTech CSE branch, out of which 28 participated in the placement drive. All the participating students were successfully placed.
