No, there is no provision for direct admission to IIIT Manipur. Candidates have to go through the admission process predefined by the institute. IIIT Manipur offers BTech and PhD programmes, admissions to which are based on performance of the candidate in the entrance exam accepted. IIIT Manipur offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to the programme is based on JEE Main rank, followed by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counselling. The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Dental College RIMS Imphal has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 12670. In 2022, it increased to 53109. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 13284 to 61009 for OBC, 89825 to 180472 for SC, 113600 to 320870 for ST, 12270 to 85555 for EWS.
