Hello Pranit Dhavale, You have completed your Diploma in mechanical engineering and are now seeking lateral admission in Marine Engineering. Correct? Yes, you indeed can get admission in lateral mode in Marine Engineering directly into the second year of four year degree course based on your Diploma in mechanical engineering. However you need to clear other criteria relevant to the college that you have selected and will have to appear for some exam if the college is demanding it. Best wishes to you.
