Hello Anurag,Firstly on this platform, all answers will be here only. No personal emails. You are saying that you are awaiting results of 12th. If so then you are not eligible for lateral admissions since these are given after completion of diploma.But yes, those students who have already appeared for 12th can definitely seek admission in this institute by following proper procedure.

B.Tech marine engineering is a 4-year undergraduate course. The minimum eligibility for this course is 10+2 with Science subjects. The general admission mode is through different entrance exams or under merit list. Top colleges offering this course are:

Listen, it seems you are very much interested for marine engineering. You are eligible for maritime engineering with spectacles but you are not eligible for navy. I will give you an advice which I did, I had -1.25 power but I reduced that to -0.5 by eating Amla twice a day and do some eye exercises, you may become eligible for navy also if you have 1 year then.

Hi,
Yes, you are eligible to get admission in marine engineering. They are more particular about the eyesight in Air Force, but in the army and marine, it's fine to a certain level.

Graduation in Marine Engineering: Eligibility
The minimum criteria of eligibility for this course are divided between two main requirements- educational and medical.
Educational Qualifications

The eyesight of candidates must not have any degree of squin or any morbid condition of eyes or of the eyelids that is liable to aggravate or recur. Neither should they exhibit symptoms of the pressure of trachoma and iris complications. Candidates must possess good binocular vision (fusion faculty and a full field of vision in both eyes).
