Marine engineering has a good future. After completing this course, you can get a job in ship construction and maintenance where technical knowledge is a must. Several Marine Engineering colleges offer teaching jobs also. But as they say, only the best person goes to sea. And in other words, we can say other jobs fulfill only our needs but marine engineering fulfill our dreams also. Regards.

During training period, it is around 20,000. After that, you have to clear your final exam. And, after clearing, it you will get paid around INR. 64,000 to INR. 96,000. Good luck.

If you have well admiration and passion for marine engineering it will be going to be ok otherwise don't join. Let me explain Marine engineering course is not like other engineering branch. After course you are going to sea as a junior/ trainee engineer from there till you become an chief engineer ( if you passionate and if you want bright in our profile) there are so many tests ,examinations conducted by MMD ( directorate of shipping ) for your each promotion onboard ship.
