You have a very bright chance of job opportunities after marine engineering. But I wonder why you want to do marine engineering after your mechanical engineering. If an offshore job is your priority then do merchant navy course. It is for a maximum 3-years duration only.

This engineering branch has been designed to train candidates to become Marine Engineers on Merchant Navy ships. At the end of the course, successful candidates are awarded the Class 4 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency. This certificate is awarded by the Ministry of Shipping, India. Please note that this certificate is provided only after a candidate completes 6 months of sea service.
