Hello Edakepuram, placements in marine engineering have seen a decline in the recent past. Also, the CTC offered too is coming down. This state of affairs is caused by twin factors of more colleges offering this branch resulting in supply outstripping demand and Covid. However, with an uptick in cargo movements, the situation can only improve. Best wishes to you.

Marine biologists often use Algebra and Trigonometry to establish measurements. For example, in investigating how the light level at different depths affects the ability of algae to photosynthesize, marine biologists may utilize mathematical models, that range from logarithmic functions to hyperbolic tangent functions.

Hello Sanvidhan Shende, I am afraid that PCM is the subject combination required in 12th for admission to marine engineering. At least for the present. However there was a news release that AICTE is likely to allow students with any combination of subjects in 12th to take admission in engineering graduation. So wait and watch till admission cycle begins for next year. However to help you I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different aspects of this branch and eligibility. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/marine-engineering-chp
Best wishes to you.
