Well, CUSAT is a very prominent institute, with a very good reputed. It was also ranked very well on the rankings released by the Ministry of human resources department. Placement are also relatively good in the institution. I would say it's worth a shot.

You can apply for Anglo Eastern University online, for getting admission into B.Tech in marine engineering. You need a valid score in class 12th board. If you want to take admission directly, then you can go for management quota. For management quota enquires, you should visit the campus for better idea.

For engineering entrance exam, the questions that come are from both 11th and 12th, i.e. combined syllabus. The main aim of engineering entrance exams is to check the overall knowledge in the subject physics chemistry and mathematics, because they provide the chance to become an engineer. All entrance exams have questions from both the classes.

As we cannot predict the possible marks vs rank, before the examination. It will depend on the toughness of the exam. For revision, you should solve all the previous year problems. No need to cover extra topics. Best of luck.

Yes, you can do Diploma in engineering after class 10th. Most of the colleges offers 3 years Diploma courses in Engineering and after that u can go for B.Tech also as lateral entry in same college or other too. Also, after class 12th You can appear for various entrance examinations like JEE, and other entrance examinations conducted by state universities and other private universities. If you qualify in those entrance examinations, then you can appear for the counselling process, where you can choose your preferred branch (Marine engineering) in a college of your choice. Hello Sumit, To have a career in marine engineering, you can study Marine engineering course. It is offered by only few colleges and hence choosing a better college is very important. Also, if you study other courses related to the Marine works, like petroleum, safety, quality management etc. , you can get a job in marine engineering sector.
