Admission Process:
Entrance Test:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Tolani Maritime Institute of Scholastic Aptitude Test TMISAT based on marks obtained in 10+2 (PCM marks) and Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test IMUCET rank.
Personal Interview:
Shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview based on marks obtained in IMUCET the panel also looks for any extracurricular achievements of the candidate. If applications received between 26 April and 31 May 2018 then candidates do not have to appear for the personal interview.
Final Selection:

This institution established by the famous Tolani family that has a great presence in shipping, prides itself in accepting students only through IMUCET and its own CET. Unfortunately, it does not give admissions under management quota and I am afraid due to this you cannot get any direct admission. Yes, indeed. This private University of Gujrat which was established in 2005 is doing a great job in the field of education. Getting C.V. Raman College of Engineering for B.Tech in Marine Engineering, seems to be impossible at this score but you can try your best upto to the last round of the counselling in that you might be able to grab this stream.

If you have well admiration and passion for marine engineering it will be going to be ok otherwise don't join. Let me explain Marine engineering course is not like other engineering branch. After course you are going to sea as a junior/ trainee engineer from there till you become an chief engineer ( if you passionate and if you want bright in our profile) there are so many tests ,examinations conducted by MMD ( directorate of shipping ) for your each promotion onboard ship. There are two ways to get education according to me, the first if you are into lower salary range than get income certificate and Economic Backward Class certificate which will help you with tuition fees cancellation. Other is you can take education loan and be confident about you son that he will be successful in his career as marine person.
