You would be eligible for admission in first year for this course, if you can produce equivalence certificate of class 12th. For lateral admissions, normally similar branch Diploma is required. Best wishes.

Yes, during the course of marine engineering all the students are given on board training which can be called internship. It is before the graduation of yours from the institution or the college where you have taken admission.
