Lateral admissions are invariably based on marks obtained in your Diploma course. In addition to this, eligibility is of the students of the state. Hence, the process begins only after result is published. Keep on checking on the website of DTE of edu of your state for further details and announcement.

Hello Mehebub,
One can definitely apply in anticipation of result for an entrance exam since admission depends not only on securing minimum prescribed marks in qualifying exam but good ranking in entrance exam also. But invariably, lateral admission is based on marks of Diploma and no entrance exam. In such scenario, till you have mark list of Diploma in your hands you cannot apply for admission.

Hi Dikshant,
In today's world, one has to be extremely careful for career step. If by chance, you even start studying without interest then it may effect your career , future of Maritime is also bright but if you still not want , Talk to you parents tell them different options you have show them the practical Picture of career . I will enlist some universities you can browse different courses like Amity University, SRM University , Lovely Professional University, etc.

Eligibility for B.Sc. In Nautical Science. As a minimum criterion of eligibility, the course requires the candidate to have attained the 10+2 qualification in the Science stream with Physics, Math and Chemistry as main subjects, and a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
