The IMU neither publish the cutoff marks, nor does it publish the marks obtained by any individual. So, obviously no one really knows its cutoff marks. All they do is that they publish a pdf file, which shows each individuals rank (with application number and name) who got selected.

Hi Akshat. Difficulty regarding any exam is matter of perspective and it varies from one individual to another. As far as IMUCET is concerned, I personally think that it is not that much difficult to crack it because :
- The nature of exam is online with no negative marking. - The questions asked are just to test the basic understanding of PCM, General knowledge and general English. And, Talking about the TMISAT It's not that difficult, it's comparatively easier than JEE Mains. Just go through your class 11th and 12th syllabus. All the best for your future, Best wishes to you!

The placements take place in the 5th,6th and 7th semester in merit Kolkata. You will have NYK ship management come in the 5th semester taking a maximum of 5 cadets and then the real run for placement begins in the 6th and 7th semester. Presently the 6th semester is going on and already 5 companies have visited the college. Fleet management taking 30, great eastern 7 cadets, chelaram and chellship have also recruited cadets.
