Increase your study time day by day. Do not study whole day for the very first day of your start. Be honest with yourself. It will give you a clear idea about what you have done and what is remaining.

The placements take place in the 5th,6th and 7th semester in merit Kolkata. You will have NYK ship management come in the 5th semester taking a maximum of 5 cadets and then the real run for placement begins in the 6th and 7th semester. Presently the 6th semester is going on and already 5 companies have visited the college. Fleet management taking 30, great eastern 7 cadets, chelaram and chellship have also recruited cadets. Mitsui is the latest company to visit our college. As far as placements are concerned you need not worry if you have no supplementary papers. And with a young director taking over who is active and vigilant in work placements will never be an issue here. This is only the 6th semester and cadets are getting placed in good numbers.
