You should look for experiential marketing, analytics and digital marketing. Instead of a certification or course, you should chose an organization working in such area and work accordingly to gain experience.

To become a marketing manager, you need to have a graduate degree and then MBA in marketing specifically because usually companies hire specialised people for these posts.
To complete your degree in MBA in marketing, go for one of these colleges as they are the best in terms of infrastructure, faculty and placements:
- Xavier institute of management, Bhubaneswar
- S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai
- UPES, Dehradun - It has a lot of further specialised courses which you pursue.
- ICFAI university, Mumbai
- IIMs

There are lots of women playing a vital role in the marketing field. The marketing manager has a big role to play in the company and good companies provide lucrative salary to the marketing managers. There is no such problem for boys or girls. The great PepsiCo chairman Indra Nooyi has also achieved that position through the marketing job.
All the best.

The job prospects depend on which field are you better at. If you have great marketing skills, then even if you are hired at a basic salary, you will get promoted faster and your career will grow at a quicker speed. Same for the HR skills.
So don't look at the overall job market because there is no right or wrong answer to your question. Job prospects keep changing all the time. Choose the field you are great at, and you will have no problem finding a job and getting paid well in Canada.
