Yes, you need to prepare well for any entrance to get admission in any government college for mass communication in India. The question paper includes 4 parts each part having 25 question each:
1) Media aptitude
2) Logical reasoning
3) General awareness
4) English comprehensive and literature

Hi,
So, you have to be a graduate in any subject (Bachelor in Mass media or BA in Mass communication more preferred), and then you have to apply for the various institutes. Usually there will be an entrance test conducted.

India is a country with great scope for mass communication. Mass communication has such a vast area that this degree helps in all non technical or non science jobs. Salary package differs from job to job and even employer to employer. You may easily get 15 to 25 average being good at work.
