The only criteria for admission to St. Xavier's College, Goa for a B.A. in Mass Communication is the marks scored by the candidate in CBSE 12th, Goa HSSC. It is a 3-year course which has a high demand in future.

The eligibility criteria for the BSc (Hons) course at Alliance School of Film and Media Studies is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 from a recognised Board / Council with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Those who have a Diploma in a related field can also apply for the programme. Furthermore, a relaxation of 5% aggregate or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.

To pursue Mass Communication M.A (Mass Communication) through PUCAT, candidates need to be a graduate in any discipline with 45% marks. 5% relaxation for SC/ST students. The duration of Mass Communication MA (Mass Communication) course is of 2 Years. The eligibility criteria for the BSc (Hons) course at School of Liberal Studies and Media is that the candidate should have passed Class 10, 12 in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Moreover, Math/Eco/ Pol.Sc. in Class 12 will be preferred and non-mathematics background students will undergo the Remedial Mathematics module in Semester 1.
