By building a good communication skill in Hindi and English or any regional language will help you to become a news reader. Pursue Mass Communication course then start focus on news reading. There is no bar for salary if you have right skills.

Many colleges or institute provide placement, and it all depends upon you only how you prepare for the placement. NIMCJ, Ahmedabad provides 100% placement, because of the good teaching method with practicals make their student brilliant and they grab the opportunity at the placement.

For Mass Communication, the placements in Chandigarh University have improved very much in the past 2 years as the university is growing popular day by day more Media companies are approaching for better placements. Yes, it offers good and quality placements in mass communication and the highest pack of this course in 2017 was around 12 LPA including perks.

According to my experience, all campuses are good for placement, because campus can only arrange the interviews with different media and other organizations, all in all student have to perform in interview. Then only, you can say that this campus is good for placements. Otherwise if we talk about the colleges of GGSIPU then VIPS, JIMS both are really good in terms of placements for mass communication.

We haven't had a graduating batch yet but our students have already interned with top media houses including HIndustan Times, Times of India, CNN-News18, NDTV, BBC and many others. We expect many of them to visit for recruitment when our first batch graduates.
