There are about 90+ best journalism colleges in Delhi. Out of these,  43 are privately owned, and 22 are owned by public/government organizations. Students can secure admission based on their Class 12 results, or some institutions conduct entrance exams like CUET, IPU CET, etc. Some of the best colleges for Journalism in Delhi include Delhi College of Arts and Commerce at the University of Delhi, Amity University Online, Jamia Millia Islamia,  Indian Institute of Mass Communication in New Delhi, and IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University, among others.

No, you cannot get direct admission to the Bachelor of Journalism (BJ) programme at Delhi School of Journalism, University of Delhi. Admission to the BJ programme at Delhi School of Journalism requires candidates to go through an entrance exam called DUET (Delhi University Entrance Exam). No the Jamia Millia Application form for the 2025 session is not out yet. The exam body, Jamia Millia Islamia University will release the JMI application form 2025 on its official website - jmi.ac.in. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill out the JMI 2025 application form online mode.

The Delhi School of Journalism, DU is a relatively new college and does not have a well-established placement cell yet. However, it is located in the heart of the North Campus and offers decent placements for students, with many being placed in news channels and radio channels. The college has a library, canteen, air-conditioned classrooms, and Wi-Fi connections, but the Wi-Fi connection is reported to be poor.
