The hostel mess food is bearable, not too good not too bad. After a point of time, it becomes difficult for everyone to have the same food, but the food can be eaten, it is not that bad. Food is provided 4 times - breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner and a similar menu is followed every week. Considering food is repeated every week, it becomes boring and then students are unable to eat but that will be the issue at any otherPGalso. At least in the mess, the quantity is not compromised. Apart from that, in college there is a cafeteria and in the hostel there is a shop which provides some basic things.

For any reasons if you miss an internal exam, there is no retest conducted. The student will be given Zero marks for that test. For internals, a student can do better in other assignments and class test to pass the course and avoid a backlog but in final exams, missing it means a backlog. No reason is entertained.

If a students fails in internal exams, a student is required to give a test and is supposed to pass it. A question paper is given to all backlog students and they are supposed to write it. If you fail in a semester/year end paper, then next year when juniors will be giving their paper, you are also supposed to give the exam that time. The Cgpa is highly affected by a single backlog also.

Based on the result of SET exam and the interview, the ideal annual intake is 120 students. Normally this number doesn't change. Annually it is 120 students only. Apart from this, Candidates may apply for admission if they have earned their 10+2 (or 10+3 Diploma authorised by State Board of Technical Education) in any discipline from any recognised Board, Council, or University with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate marks, or comparable grades.
