The Christ University Department of Media Studies has not released the official placement report for the year 2023. However, Around 60 to 80 percent of the candidates got placed in mass media courses. As per the latest placement report in 2022, the highest package offered was INR 13 Lacs Per Annum for Mass Communication students, the average salary package offered was 6 Lacs Per Annum and the lowest package offered to mass communication candidates was INR 3 Lacs Per Annum during the placement. Axxela, Aspire Systems, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Ernst & Young, Accenture, and Brain Capability Network are the companies in which candidates got jobs

Yes, Christ University has a Boy's hostel on campus named Jonas Hall and a girls' Hostel named St. Kuriakose Elias Hall. Also, Christ University has Block A, B, and C Residence Halls near the campus for Boys and hostels by Catholic Nuns. CST Vidyabhavan for Girls outside the Christ University. The hostels are equipped with all basic amenities for the candidate.

Admission to most Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses is based on CUET (Christ University Entrance Test) conducted by Christ Deemed-to-be University, Department of Media Studies. For the remaining courses, selection rounds, such as Skill Assessments, Micro presentations, Personal Interviews, and Group Discussions are conducted for admission.

No, there is no time limit to solve a section in JMI Entrance Exam. The total duration of the exam varies according to the course. Hence, on an average, candidates will get around five minutes for each MCQ. Candidates must keep a tab on the timing as JMI Exam is a time-pressed exam. Before the exam day, candidates are advised to prepare a time management strategy wherein a particular timing should be assigned for each section or subject. They must also note that they will not be given any extra time to complete the exam, nor will they be allowed to take breaks in between or leave before time.
