No, for pursuing any under graduate course you need be a higher secondary graduate I. e. (+1&+2) passed. Then only you can pursue mass communication or any under graduate course. However for Masters in field of mass communication you need a graduation degree in any stream from any recognised University is mandatory.

At first I don't have any idea about lateral entry in Bachelors I think there is no any lateral entry in Bachelors for mass and communication but lateral entry to 2nd year of MAJMC for Post graduation courses are there. Yes, you can pursue Diploma course after 10th in media courses and Mass Communication which is offered by good colleges and universities in India But, the good Diploma courses in mass communication are offered only after class 12th or graduation in India and I am not sure about other countries.
