Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Film, TV and Animation Studies does not accepts CAT score. The college conducts an admission test including various sections for admission to Diploma courses. Aspirants have to meet the eligibility criteria and qualify the test for admission. Selected candidates have to further come for the personal interview round for final selection.

The ITM Institute of Design and Media located at Nerul provides campus B.Des scholarships as per merit as well as needs basis. Scholarships are usually given to students with excellent performance in previous qualifying examination and ITM entrance examination scores. However, ITM from time to time offers scholarship to the students from the low income background, with focus on supporting anyone who has a small capital to fund his/her studies but has a potential to contribute positively towards the society. The process of admission in B.Des course offered by the ITM Institute of Design and Media is spread over several stages. Fees of the key programmes namely B.Des vary between INR 3 Lacs to INR 4 Lacs per annum the overall cost of the four years amount to approximately INR 12 Lacs to INR 16 lakhs. This estimate does not include other expenses including materials, studio apparatus, fees for other academic activities. Based on such structure, ITM Nerul is costlier than many other design institutes.

ITM Institute of Design and Media, Nerul The minimum qualification cutoff and the admission process for B.Des is as follows The admission for the B.Des programme is offered only for the candidate who clears the ITM Design Aptitude Test (ITM-DAT) and Personal interview. There are no standard pass scores as such since the admission turnover depends on a number of factors ouring the entrance examination as well as the interview. The cutoff may not remain the same for a particular course every year mainly because of the total number of students applying for a particular course, level of difficulty of the test
