Hello there,
Yes, you can become a cinematographer, learn aspects of cinematography and then go for it. There are some good institutes to learn cinematography. After completing your course in cinematography, work under some good DOP in the film industry and then work as an independent DOP.

Hello there
Both are good at there respective places.
about filmmaking
Filmmaking contains all the aspects regarding film, i.e script acting camera sound, editing.
If you want to learn filmmaking then go for asifm. because there degree available for proper film making course along with specialization in a single aspect. admission through entrance exam and interview
in AAFT you can learn single aspect of filmmaking i.e direction only or acting only etc. But ASIFM offering full filmmaking course, so go with asifm according to your query.
