Hello,
For Masters in mass communication entrances, generally the syllabus in general knowledge and based on what you might have read in your Bachelor's 3-year course.

Yes, Mass communication is an entrance based course.
Universities like GGSIPU, Jamia, Xavier's, Amity, Symbiosis etc conduct entrance for the admission purpose.
For this year, I suppose all the entrances have been conducted and the results are out.
Either go for some private university now or wait till next year and appear in entrance exams!

Yes, one can pursue an MBA after Mass Communication. Minimum eligibility for applying for MBA in India is a graduate degree from a recognized university. Some institutes require minimum 50% aggregate marks in graduation. As far as the type of course is concerned, people from varied backgrounds ranging from engineering, commerce and arts apply for the post graduate course in management, therefore a background in mass communication is also good. Hi Anshul,
A career after mass communication and journalism requires commitment, dedication and sacrifice of personal time for the sake of staying on front or top, particularly in news industry. A journalist may have to work day in and day out to get breaking news. Similarly, media professionals who are in entertainment or film making need to work with passion which may come at the cost of their personal life. However, in a nutshell, Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication degree is enough for a person to fetch a job of any interest or of any field. Bachelor of Mass Media commonly known as BMM course is as undergraduate programme which has been designed to provide students with a firm training in communication skills.
