Yes you can do. But mcc offers only diploma course in mass communication. They offer MA post graduate degree in journalism and mass communication.

You need to give CET 2017, There are two departments for mass communication one is for electronic media and one is for print media. There is no placement cell in print media here but companies like Sony and Starplus and other do come in electronic media. Also, in print media. different newspaper and channels come for hiring reporters and news reader and all. So you always have the choice.

Hi Siddharth,
A career after mass communication requires commitment, dedication and sacrifice of personal time for the sake of staying on front or top, particularly in news industry. A journalist may have to work day in and day out to get breaking news. Similarly, media professionals who are in entertainment or film making need to work with passion which may come at the cost of their personal life. However, in a nutshell, Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication degree is enough for a person to fetch a job of any interest or of any field. There is no such specialisation in BBA. You should go for Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication or Bachelor of Mass Media. After that, you may pursue PG from institutes like SIMC, MICA, Jamia Millia and IIMC.

Hello, the dates for admission form availability and submission for the 2017 are still not out. However taking into account last year's schedule, online registration took place from May 13 to 30 May, 2016. It's around that time when admission registrations start, keep an eye on the college website for any announcements.

It depends on your mindset and interest. If mass communication is not good then how come many renowned journalist choose this field and how media industry is providing ample opportunities. Having a tag name of engineer doesn't give you stamp or guarantee for success. Choose the field in which you can perform well.

Starting salary for a BJMC candidate is around rupees 15000 per month. If the campus has good placement record then the students will be picked up my PR media, print media or other mass media companies. Most of the placements in journalism happen through campus placement.

In order to pursue mass communication, you can take up the courses like:
BJMC (Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication)
B.Sc MCAJ (Bachelors of Science in Mass communication and Journalism)
You can take up the following courses from the government and private institutes. Some of the best colleges that you can choose from are:
Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC)
GGS, IPU
DCAC
AAFT
In order to be a graduate from any of these colleges, you might have to write their respective entrance exams as well. A minimum of 50% in 12th from any stream is mandatory to get into the field of mass communication. Anchor, writer

Yes, you can take admission in the PG courses of your choice provided you meet the eligibility guidelines of the University you may seek admission in. For UG and PG courses in mass communication, journalism, etc. you can also choose to study in RK Films and Media Academy, Delhi.
