As you have done Bachelors, you may do MA (Journalism & Mass Communication) if you are interested in journalism. LPU offers MA (Journalism & Mass Communication) and M.Sc (Film and TV Production) these two Masters courses in journalism and film production.

In DU, the selection is on the basis of merit. Whereas, in other universities the selection is on the basis of entrance exam conducted by different universities.

Ideally speaking, the big metro cities have wider scopes as most of the media agencies like electronic media (news channels) and print media are located in bigger cities. But news is something that can happen anywhere. So, getting a job is much higher in bigger cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, etc. but you might have to travel elsewhere for news collection.
