However I am sure if seats remain vacant then Management's of the private colleges will force government to allow admissions to out of state students also. Hi Sadha, there are need-based scholarships from MIT, MIT is just few of the US universities to offer need-based scholarships to its students. They do not offer merit based funds. For students with family incomes under $90,000 a year, a full scholarship aid is possible from MIT.
