Yes, UMass Boston is a dry campus. This means that alcohol is not allowed on campus or in the residence halls, regardless of students' age. On top of this, the university is a smoke-free campus. Violation of alcohol rules may result in immediate removal from the building and cancellation of the housing agreement.

Yes, Fitchburg State gives scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate students. For undergraduate students, merit scholarships are offered and no separate application has to be submitted. In other words, the applicants are automatically considered for the merit scholarships.One of the merit-based scholarships for UG students is Fitchburg Freshmen Scholarship. The University of Massachusetts Boston campus size is 120 acres. More than 16,000 call the university as their home. When it comes to the number of international students, more than 2,400 students are there at UMass Boston. For students, there are 100 student clubs, 18 Division III NCAA teams and many student organizations and cultural events at the university.
