For the self-study of jam examination, one must start the preparation early. No matter if you study 5 hours instead of 8 hours, only output matters so study effectively. Yes, you can. You can choose one or two subjects for IIT JAM examination, but the subjects you choose must not be in the same session. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. So, you have to select the subjects according to the two sessions. Ist session: 09:30 a. m. to 12:30 noon for Biotechnology (BT), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH). IInd session: 02:30 p. m. to 05:30 p. m. for Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG) and Mathematics (MA). IIT JAM Exam will be conducted on 09th February 2020. So, prepare yourself well. Hello, Cracking IIT JAM Exam is a tough task and that too when you are pursuing your graduation. You need to be dedicated to your IIT JAM Preparation. You only have a few days left to prepare for it. So, from now only focus on the most important topics. Solve previous year question papers. JAM Previous Years Papers. Take online mock tests to analyze your preparation level. This will also increase your speed and accuracy while solving questions. Improve your weaker areas. Make notes of all the important stuff. Study at least 6-7 hours daily and give your last 30-45 minds to the revision daily. Best of Luck.

Find your weaknesses and work on them. Solve IIT JAM Previous year question paper . To emphasize more on efforts, efficiency, accuracy and speed, join online mock test series and solve full length mock papers. Attempt Questions with easy approach. Keep on revising the concepts. Hello,
I personally do not recommend to go for coaching, if you have a good foundation of basics. You study almost everything in B.Sc. Syllabus. Go with the latest syllabus only. Just that go for Quality IIT JAM Study Material. Along with this no books or coaching can teach you unless you do not put your own efforts. Getting into IITs is all about brainstorming. So it is better to study on your own. For doubts, you can contact your faculty members and friends but before that try to understand it seeing the solution. Thanks a lot.

As far as syllabus is concerned you must start early but really there is no definite answer on this, How many hours one should study to crack IIT JAM. It depends on efficiency, accuracy &conceptual clarity. If you go to college or coaching then 3-4 yours are enough. Follow the latest syllabus & check IIT JAM. Previous Year Question Paper. Practice the easiest topics first and solve a variety of questions. Then proceed to the next level topics clear the concept and practice more no of questions to master them. Also appear for mock test papers as well. Thanks.

Here is the preparation strategy for IIT JAM Mathematics. Mark the topics you know well. Cover them first. Solve relevant questions. Proceed to the topics you have studied earlier but require practice. Now look for the topics which are difficult & scoring ones. Through the entire preparation follow IIT JAM Mathematics Study Material. Download the last 10 years' question papers and solve them religiously. Practice a variety of questions for a good command. Appear for Online mock tests in time and analyze your performance. Stay positive and optimistic about your preparation.

You can easily crack IIT JAM Exam if you study well for it. Now only few days are left for the exam. So, focus only on the most important topics. Solve as many IIT JAM Previous Year Papers as you can. This will give you an idea about the pattern and difficulty level of the questions. Take online mock tests. Learn all the important stuff and make notes of them. This will help you in your last minute preparation. Improve your weaker areas. Study more for the topics in which you are weak. Study at least 6-7 hours daily and give your last 30-45 minds to the revision. While preparing for the exam, you should take care of your health as well

Yes, B.Sc. Graduates can apply for the IIT JAM Exam. Candidates must have minimum 55% marks for General & OBC and 50% marks for SC, ST categories in their Bachelors degree. If you are in the final year of your graduation, then also you can apply for IIT JAM Exam. IIT JAM Exam is conducted in six subjects: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Statistics and Geology. So, if you want to apply for the exam, then you have to fulfill subject-wise criteria as well.
