Eligibility of the parent state or university to have postgraduate programs open for non-domicile candidates is run on basis of the actual eligibility criteria as set by the state or university in which the candidates have applied.He or She may be eligible for taking admission through state entrance examinations; however, reservations and other benefits meant for domicile candidates would not apply. Admission will be made based on general merit or open category rank. Non-domicile students must submit all authentic educational qualifications and other required documents. Some states or institutions also have very specific reservation norms or rules. Such a situation has always existed for these general criteria by which students from other states stand equal to students eligible by this criteria for seats not reserved for students from that state.

To get into Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions (VGI) for undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) courses, you must meet the following eligibility criteria and application process:Application: Fill out the application form available on the college's website. Eligibility: Meet the minimum aggregate percentage in your qualifying exam: UG courses: A minimum of 45% in class 12 with relevant subjects from a recognised board PG courses: A minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation with relevant subjects from a recognised college/university MBA programs: Meet the eligibility criteria and have a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT Admission process: The application, transcripts, and test scores are evaluated by an admission committee. The committee considers the academic merit of the candidate and their performance in selection rounds. Selection rounds: For PG courses, candidates may need to undergo a selection round that assesses their written English communication skills, analytical skills, and aptitude. Interview: For UG courses, candidates may need to appear for a personal interview. Admission status: The Dean of Admissions will notify the candidate of their admission status. 

To get into Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering (JSCOE) for UG/PG courses, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:Undergraduate (UG) Courses:1. Eligibility:Must have passed 10+2 with mathematics, physics and chemistry.The competency requirements include a minimum of a 50% marks in their respective courses/degrees and or 45% in case of the reserved candidates. 2. Entrance Exam:The key admission based on the student's performance in the MHT CET or JEE Main examination. Postgraduate (PG) Courses:1. Eligibility:Minimum 50% in Bachelor's degree in the related field for General Category Candidates, and 45% for Reserved Categories. 2. Entrance Exam:For M.Tech it's the GATE scores and MAH MBA /MMS-CET for MBA programme. For the UG as well as PG programs, one needs to appear for a centralized admission process conducted by DTE, Maharashtra only.
