The college accept many entrance exams like MAT, XAT GMAT, CAT, CMAT etc. admission process is conducted through the centralised admission process of the directorate of technical education.For MAT 2025 exam, registration deadline is March 2.For XAT 2025 exam, exam date is on Jan 5th. For CMAT 2025 exam deadline is on Jan 25th. For ATMA 2025 exam deadline is on February 2nd

One of the best reasons why MAT is considered as easy compared to other MBA entrance examination is the number of attempts, there is no limit on the number of attempts for this examination. The MAT 2023 registration process at BBDU is ongoing for both PBT (Paper-Based Test) and IBT (Internet-Based Test) sessions. The PBT registration is open from October 13, '23, to December 5, '23, while IBT 2 registration extends until December 6, '23. Furthermore, IBT 1 admit card download is ongoing from December 4, '23, to December 6, '23. These events mark significant milestones for MAT aspirants at BBDU.

Most of the MBA colleges follow the same selection process, I. e. exam score, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Some colleges conduct written Ability Test (What) as well. The GD conducted group wise Each group has 8-10 aspirants who are given a topic to discuss. About 5-10 minutes are given to aspirants for preparing their argument and then the floor is thrown open for discussion. In a group discussion, the panelists adjudge the candidates ability to hold a discussion, lead a discussion and convince a group of people. In the What, candidates are given a topic to write short essay. The essay is usually of 200-300 words.

The participating colleges decide MAT cut off for admission to their MBA/PGDM programmes. Generally, the top MBA colleges' cut off range is around 90-95 percentile. Cut offs of Tier 2 colleges is usually between the range of 80-90 percentile and for Tier 3 it is 50-70 percentile. These cut offs are determined by the colleges on the basis of certain parameters and may change year on year. The three main factors that determine MAT cut off are listed below:
