The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is one of the entrance exams accepted by Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) for admissions to their management programs. However, the exact MAT score required for admission can vary each year based on the number of applicants and the competition level. Generally, a higher MAT score increases your chances of admission, but DSU does not publicly specify a minimum MAT score requirement. It's advisable to aim for a score above 600 to be competitive, but checking with the university's admission office for the most current and specific requirements is always a good idea.

Yes, AIT in Bengaluru accepts MAT scores and offers an opportunity to students, which covers around 50 per cent management quota admissions in addition to those with MAT, CMAT, or KMAT, while the balance 50% is from those who take Post Graduate Common Entrance Test by the Karnataka Examinations Authority or KEA. A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) is a must for being eligible.

A score of 386 in MAT is not enough to qualify for admission to the BIT Mesra MBA program. The admissions are done considering valid scores from entrance tests such as MAT, group discussion performance, and personal interview performance. Historically, a cut-off score of more than 400 to 500 is competitive for BIT Mesra. Therefore, though a score of 386 may be considered, it is probably too low for a strong application. For a better chance of getting admitted, candidates may take the MAT again to get a higher score or look for other colleges with lower cutoffs. Checking the latest cutoff announcements will make things clearer.

Yes, you can get a scholarship based on your MAT score for the PGDM programme at GIBS Business School. GIBS offers merit-based scholarships to students with good scores in national exams like MAT. If you have a strong MAT score, it increases your chances of being considered for a scholarship. In addition to the MAT score, GIBS also considers other factors such as your overall academic performance, extracurricular activities, and performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). So, while a good MAT score is important, the final scholarship decision will also depend on your complete profile. It's a good idea to contact
