When preparing for the MAT it's crucial to focus on your strengths, improve your time management skills, and practice solving previous years' question papers or sample tests. This will help you familiarize yourself with the exam pattern, identify your weaker areas, and build your confidence.

Here are the general steps:
Visit the official website: Go to the official website of the conducting authority responsible for organizing the MAT exam. Find the admit card download link: Look for a specific section or link related to the MAT 2023 admit card on the website. It is usually labeled as "Download Admit Card" or something similar. Provide required details: Click on the admit card download link and enter the necessary details such as your application number, registration number, date of birth, or any other information as requested. Submit the details: After entering the required information, double-check the accuracy of the details and submit the form. Admit card download: Once you have submitted the form, the system will generate your admit card. You will typically SEE a download button or a link to access your admit card. Download and print: Click on the download button/link to save the admit card to your computer or mobile device. It is advisable to take a printout of the admit card for future reference. Check the details: Review the admit card carefully to ensure that all the information mentioned, such as your name, photograph, exam date, time, and venue, is accurate. If you find any discrepancies, contact the conducting authority immediately to rectify the issue.

AIMA MAT releases the results phase wise. The exam is held in multiple sessions in February, May, September and December phases. So the results are released for all the sessions of a particular phase on the same day. The MAT February result of all sessions are released in March. The MAT May results are released in June and the MAT September result is released in October and MAT December results are released in January. Candidates who appear for the exam, can download their scorecard for their exam session from the AIMA MAT website. AIMA does not release cut offs for admission through MAT. It has no role in the MAT cut off determination. The participating institutes determine MAT cut offs on their own and as per their selection parameters and criteria.

MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam which is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT which can be taken by candidates from an exam centre as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September and December which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as MBA Admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam as per their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.
