Yes, admissions are conducted on the basis of online Common Admission Test CUSAT CAT or online Lateral Entry Test (LET) or Departmental Admission Test (CUSAT that), by the University.

MAT and ATMA are among the easier MBA entrance examinations that are conducted in the country. It is advisable to prepare for CAT XAT IIFT SNAP as preparing for them will already make you exam ready for exams like MAT and ATMA. However you can use these books for your reference-
NCERT (Class 9 and 10)- Believe it or not, the best books are often the ones that are the simplest. Try to finish these before going for other books. Follow Wren and Martin for basic English and grammar. Sarvesh Verma (Quantum CAT for Quants) and/or Nishit K. No, you cannot appear for MAT. Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university to get eligible for the exam. Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

Yes, I think you should opt for MAT and ATMA exam. CET score is less to get admission in any good college.
