CAT is known for its toughness. There might be some little changes in the syllabus. If you want to write other exams after preparing for CAT you can do that. But you have to prepare some extra topics apart from your CAT syllabus to write your prescribed exam.

As your score is much lower in MAT, but it depends upon the college whether they will provide you admission or not, you can apply after that it will be depending on them whether they will give you admission or not. All the best.

Hi,
Compared to other exams, MAT is same, but in MAT you get chances if you fail to clear once you have another chance to attend it compared to other exams. Yes, MAT is also tough but not that tough as CAT.

It's difficult to get admission in a B-School with this score, they are much lower, you need to score more for getting a good college.
