Hello Avinash,
Your questions answer is subjective to your preferences. If you are good at solving lot of easy problems quickly and little poor at solving difficult problems, go for MAT. If you take time solving problems, but you get them finally, CMATs pattern may be more suitable for. Let me elaborate
Both CMAT and MAT are aptitude tests for tier -2 or tier-3 business schools. They won't fetch you the best colleges. If you want the best go for CAT. MAT has five sections. The best B-schools accepting the above-mentioned MBA entrance exams are:-
1. CAT – IIMs (old ones), SP Jain, JBIMS, FMS.
2. NMAT - NMIMS (Mumbai campus)
3. XAT, XLRI, SP Jain
4. MAT, BIMTECH, SIES, NL Dalmia, IPE.

No, MAT is an examination which is valid only in India that too for low level colleges. And 608 is not also a good score to opt out for abroad. So, its better to look at your competencies, try to appear for CAT XAT and then look forward for going abroad by giving GMAT.
