MAT

For MBA, it is mandatory to write any of these entrance exam - CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP etc.
It depends on institute as to which exam they prefer and what is the cut-off score.

If you want to get admission in this college, then you have to score 98+ in CAT.

Best book for MAT is RS Agarwal. You can check that.

It will be difficult to get admission, as score in graduation is on lower side, but every college has different criteria, you can check the below link for the list of colleges accepting MAT scores-

I am sorry to tell you that once registered and application form is filled ,you can not cancel it.If you don't want to sir for exam don't give attendance. Or I would rather suggest you to attend exam as it will give you expirence of the questions and and give you an idea where you stand.

XAT is a more challenging exam as compared to MAT, and requires a lot of focus and dedicated preparation to clear it with a very good score. Also, a lot of reputed B-schools like XLRI, SP Jain, etc. accept XAT scores, thus making it more important than MAT.
