MBA in finance is good because it has many career options. But if you want a good college then don't keep only MAT as option, you can try other entrances like CMAT and others.

There are no fixed number of attempts for MAT (Management Aptitude Test) exam. You can give many attempts if you satisfy the eligibility conditions.

Hi,
Heres the eligibility criteria for the MAT 2017 December exam:
- Graduates in any discipline can take the exam.
- Final year graduation students can also apply.
- There is no age limit for MAT exam
No where graduation percentage is mentioned. But you must have minimum 50%

For MAT exam, you should work on your speed, questions aren't that tough. Try giving mock tests for MAT

Yes, you have to appear for an MBA entrance exam. In fact if you wish to take admission in any other college also, you have to attend MAT or CAT exam. Regarding IEM you need to give:
MAT entrance exam for PGDM.
CAT entrance exam for MBA.

Tips:
Make your plan according to the time you can give for the preparation on a daily basis.
Work on your plan and identify your weakness and strength.
Try to plan and identify above stated things within a week. Set your plan agile and keep buffer time for revision and solving mock test papers.
Start with your verbal and quantitative practice in parallel. Three months can make or change the game, time management is very important at every single point of time till the final day and even on the day.

Hi,
Yes, a student can appear in CAT, MAT or SNAP exam with a backlog.
You just need to select Yes to the question registration form that asks: Are you in the final year of Bachelors Degree?
The only rule that exists here is you have to score 50%
The certificate from your issuing university should be submitted before June 2018. Or you can submit a certificate issued by the Principal/Registrar of University before June, 2018 that would certify you as you have taken the supplementary examination and the results are awaited.

Hi,
It is mentioned by AIMA that:
Four Digit codes for Management Institutes/University Departments accepting the MAT Score are given in the List of Participating Institutes/Universities as MI Code. There are five fields given in the Registration Form. Select the codes of those five institutes only where you have applied or are applying for admission. No additional fee is to be paid for filling these 5 choices.
This means you need to apply to the colleges.
