Hello,
Percentage and percentile are both different.
Suppose you score 99 percentile then it means, that you have scored more than "99% of the total candidates who appeared for the exam"
And suppose in an exam you score 50%, that is just your score. It has nothing to do with what others have scored.
All the MBA entrance exams take percentile into consideration.
Good luck!

Hello Nellai,
I would suggest you to go for both.
A good rank in CAT will get you into IIM or other top institutes.
You can keep MAT as a backup.
Good luck!

I am not clear what do you mean by 586.5% as only 100% is the maximum and XIME accepts scores equal to 70% or more than that and they do accept MAT scores as well.

These all exams are for MBA course. Different Universities and colleges have different admission criteria. Some take through CAT and some through MAT. Maximum universities and colleges take admission based on CAT and MAT score. XAT is for admission in FMS Delhi. GMAT is mostly for those who want to study MBA abroad. So you can choose according to your goals.
