Three divisions are there, most of the questions are asked from these only-
Quantitative Aptitude,
Data interpretation & logical reasoning,
Verbal and reading comprehension,
Arithmetic, Algebra, Number system & Geometry majorly comes in Quantitative aptitude.
Questions based on table, charts for data interpretation (4 questions in a set)
& logical reasoning questions come as a paragraph questions consisting around 4 questions from the question set.
English consists of para-jumbles, critical reasoning, grammar and majorly reading comprehension.

As far as I've heard, one can take GMAT as per one's convenience. The CAT notification has been released yesterday, kindly check on their official site. For other exams, there are no notifications as of now especially of SNAP, CMAT and XAT (they are held in Dec-Jan).

I would suggest you visit the available coaching "brands" like Career Launcher, TIME, IMS etc. Take the demo classes if possible.
You will then be able to make a fair decision.

Yes, you can appear for both. Also, you can appear for all four attempts in a year. There is no such restriction.
Prepare well and clear it in one go.
Do not think of reappearing.
