You can get admission with 70% in MAT for MBA admissions if you are not from general category. General category students might get admission but it is somewhere difficult. Because 70 percent marks translates to 560 marks whereas for general category cutoff was around 550-600 marks. For other categories you can easily get admission at 70% in MAT.

Yes, MAT (Management Aptitude Test) scores are accepted for admission to the MBA programme at the Community Institute of Management Studies (CIMS) in Bangalore. In addition to MAT, CIMS also accepts scores from other entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, IIFT, ATMA, and CMAT. This information is also supported by the fact that more than 40 MBA colleges in Bangalore and its neighboring cities accept MAT scores for PGDM/MBA programs

The exact number of rounds may vary as AIMA does not conduct any centralized counseling process, and participating B-schools determine their own cutoff and admission process. The Chennai Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management (CAIIHM) does not require the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for admission to its MBA programme. The National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology's (NCHMCT) Management Aptitude Test (MAT) results are used to determine admission to the B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration programme at Chennai's Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management (CAIIHM). There will be four rounds of MAT counseling in 2023 in online mode.
