Mata Kaushalya Government Hospital in Patiala, Punjab has General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of 42 months duration. The GNM program is specifically recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), Working for the Punjab Nursing Registration Council (WFPNRC). Application Requirements: The applicants must have passed their 12th standard to get admission in the institute and should have scored over 40% and the preference should be with science streams like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The total number of seats provided for this course is 50 where majority i.e 85% is for the candidates of Punjab and remaining 15% are for other states. It is on merit based system and the normal admission procedure for the coming academic year starts as early as July with the publication of the admission form.
