Mathematics Eligibility

You can take admission in BCA as math is not compulsory. Other eligibility requirements, however, must be MET. The programme requires a pass in 10+2 (with English or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. NASSCOM has placed LPU's School of Computer Application among the top four Computer Applications Institutes in North India. The curriculum introduces students to the principles of information technology and gives knowledge of network tools and procedures through a grasp of existing wired and wireless networking models and protocols. The Open Systems Interconnection communication model, local area networks, bridges, routers, and gateways, addressing, and local and remote processes are among the topics covered in the course. Physical layer fundamentals, network protocol methods, error handling, flow management, multihop routing network reliability, timing, sophisticated network protocols, and infrastructure, as well as high-performance network applications are all simulated. I have no idea of eligibility of BTech biotechnology at IPU but being alumni of LPU, I can assure you that you can get admission in BTech biotechnology with minimum of 60% marks in PCB and English and by qualifying LPUNEST exam.
After having a BTech degree from LPU in biotech., students can find jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research labs, and institutions in India. However, most Indian students tend to go abroad to pursue their masters or doctorate studies in Biotechnology and allied fields. Some students also shift to MBA and enter the world of business, finance, and banking as their engineering background gives them the required quantitative skills to excel in these sectors. Also, many students shift to software through on-campus placements.
The LPU Biotech students have a vast scope as they can work in sectors of pharmaceuticals, agriculture, healthcare, food processing, nutrition, animal science, and environmental conservation.
There are many colleges and universities which are providing this course but It will be advisable if you do your degree from a well-known university like LPU and that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding exposure, and professional enhancement training. Since this field is highly research-oriented, vast, and diverse, it is highly recommended that students pursue their graduate studies in Biotechnology at LPU, Biomedical Sciences, Biological sciences, Bioprocess Engineering, etc.
LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every one of eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by foreign agencies also with regard to placements of our students.
