Mathematics Placement

B.J. B Autonomous College has a dedicated Placement Cell that helps students with job opportunities and internships. The placement process usually starts in the final year of the course. As for the package, it varies from company to company and also depends on the skills and academic performance of the student. Generally, the starting package for a B.Sc. Mathematics graduate can be around Rs. 2.5-4 Lacs per annum. However, it can go higher for students who excel academically or have in-demand skills. It is important to note that placements cannot be guaranteed and depend on various factors like market conditions, the performance of the student in the interview, etc.

Dear Poonam, Both CU and LPU are good but if I talk about the placements of M.Sc. In Mathematics, then LPU is good for placements. As far as I know, the highest package offered for the programme is INR 9.55 LPA. The companies visited for recruitment are as follows:

PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Major Analytics based roles provided and companies participating here. The average package lies in the range of 6.5 LPA CTC. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, Lodha Developers, Runwal group, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Forge, etc. Recruit the students. The highest package goes as high as 22 LPA by MU Sigma over three years bond. Some international firms also visit here every year. Internship through college is decent. Students who have a good GPA are mostly selected for PPOs and also the internship. Infrastructure and Faculty are simply great and college is accredited globally.
