As you haven't named any particular University or College. So, I am giving you a general criteria. ELIGIBILITY: The standard requirement for admission to the B.Sc. Math Honours degree programme is a pass grade in the 10+2 or equivalent exam in the Science stream with at least 50% of the candidate's overall or in the subject of Mathematics from a recognised board or Institute. Here is the eligibility for IIT JAM chem exam
Bachelors degree (at least 10+2+3) with Chemistry as a major/honours subject and Mathematics and Physics as other subjects, or
Candidates having a Bachelors degree (at least 10+2+3) without (Major/Honours) must have the concerned degree with (a) Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters, (b) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Mathematics (c) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Physics
or
Chemistry as a subject for three years of 6 semesters. Many IIT have different criteria. Go through admission brochure of IIT JAM. They don't ask for Maths as 12th subject. But still have query then contact the IIT
