According to me, chemistry has more scope:
You can become a scientist in a reputed lab if you know chemistry, wherein, by doing maths, you can still become a researcher but not as good as a scientist.
You can do research in the medical field, chemical field, human body, forensic science and many other. You can make your career in the teaching line as well. Now, the choice is all yours.

After the completion of B.Sc mathematics you can join courses like MCA, M.Sc, IT, actuarial sciences, MBA or M.Sc in mathematics. Career opportunities can include jobs at financial companies, software developers, marketers and bankers; everyone wants a good mathematician. Data analytics, a field which is the talk of town, often needs people who are good with numbers and understand data. With excellent mathematical abilities, you might just be picked up by political or military intelligence bodies to work as a cryptanalyst who deciphers encrypted messages.

Hi Jayesh,
Firstly, I would ask you, if you really love Maths or not? If no, then don't even think about it and if yes, then to be very honest, Commerce with Maths is really very important. It will be tough in these 2 years, but it is worth it, as you will get benefit in the upcoming next 5 years. If you take up Maths, then your options for good colleges get wider, for example in St. Xavier's College, it is compulsory to have Maths in class 11th and class 12th. And again, if you take up BBA or B.Com, both has Maths paper in 1st or 2nd year. You, however have to deal with it, be it now or then.

Dear ManuShree!
Generally, in for Bachelor's in Data Science, you need to be from PCM background. But still, there are some who are working as a data analyst after commerce background. For specific degree, you need to go for 'Statistics' (some university asked you to be from Science stream for that). But in addition, you need to be excellent in Programing, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Neural Network, Data Visualisation etc. Coming straight to your point, you may check the website of "SP Jain University". Don't just opt for PCM as you think it is a shortcut to earn money, nothing today gives any guarantee and certainty. But, if you have interest in something, money will come automatically without even bothering about it. Doctors are most needed in India (it is what I feel), we are developing, but still people (mostly children) are dying from illness, epidemics, malnutrition, and most of the doctors go abroad rather than helping here. And yes, it is true that once you become a doctor, you will not have enough time, but think about mothers cum doctors. Don't they take care of their family and children? It depends on you, how you manage ti
