You can go for any field. It is not important from which stream you have passed your 12th. You did not have Maths in 12th. You can even go for CA.

I must say that secretarial practice subject is easy as compared to Maths because Maths is nothing but a practical subject. You have to revise each concept every day but in case of secretarial practice subject, if we think and have dedication then we can complete SP with concept clarity within 15 days. I just want to convey to the students who want to score more in 12th to please go for secretarial practice subject. It helps to know about the companies acts' as well as the description of other acts. We can write this paper with our own language.

The eligibility criteria of DU's B.Com (Hons) is given below. Eligibility: A total of no less than 60% marks in English/Hindi and a set of three best among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce. Additional Eligibility Criteria: No less than 50% marks in Mathematics/Business Mathematics
So Mathematics/ Business Mathematics is compulsory in 12th.
