BIT Mesra has a seat intake of 77 for the BSc in Mathematics and Computing programme. The seat allotment in this course is done based on JEE scores. In addition, 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the state of Jharkhand and 50% for other state candidates. The mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

According to JEE Advanced's eligibility criteria to take admission in IITs, a candidate should have atleast 75% in aggregate of below 5 subjects-PhysicsChemistryMathematicsEnglish or any language subjectBest of either 5th or 6th subject except above 4 subjects.Yes, you are eligible they just look at your overall percentage in class 12 CBSE that needs to be more than 75 thats all. Counting only maths marks is not what it is. Total percentage is needed the most. If you fulfill that, you are definitely set to go

Most BSC Nursing colleges have standards whereby you stand an eligibility to join their Nursing college if you studied Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in your 12th standard. Mathematics is not one of the compulsory courses that any candidate needs to possess to gain admission into BSC Nursing. IISc has a four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) course in Mathematics and Computing and not a regular B.Tech. The latest cutoff information for B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing at IISc Bangalore is based on the JEE Advanced exam. For the 2024-2025 academic year, the cutoff ranks are as follows:- General: 708- General (Female): 2616- EWS: 276- EWS (Female): 478- OBC-NCL: 634- OBC-NCL (Female): 1964- SC: 184- SC (Female): 584- ST: 199- ST (Female): 254- CRL-PWD: 19- KM: 778Please note that these cutoff ranks are subject to change, and you should check the official IISc website for the latest information .

In the CUET math section, you can choose to attempt either Section B1 (Mathematics) or Section B2 (Mathematics/Statistics). Attempting both sections isn't allowed. Choose the section that aligns better with your academic background and interests.
