With regard to scope, both are excellent. The hottest job right now is data Science, and graduates with degrees in Statistics or economics with honours are preferred. Mathematicians and statisticians also work in the field of actuarial Science. On the other hand, you can pursue a career in accounting and finance after earning a B.Com. With honours. When deciding between these two, you should place the highest value on your interests and strengths. If math is your the strongest subject, pick Statistics Hons. Join a B.Com (Hons) programme if you enjoy finance and accounting.
